The craze of 80s slasher flicks and Cannon Action movies had vanished and we were looking for some new interesting and outrageous cinema to come our way. Enter actor/ director Alex Winter and his bonkers film FREAKED! Completely tanking in theaters this movie was discovered through the power of VHS and man what a great one to discover it was. Comeplete 90s insanity in the best way possible and finally this week it is being given a proper UHD/ Blu Ray release loaded with bonus features. The movie explores a supernatural mystery with a twist ending that reveals a parasitic witch is using the children as “weapons” to drain their life force.

In 1630 New England, panic and despair envelops a farmer, his wife and their children when youngest son Samuel suddenly vanishes.
