Thanks to the good people at Eyesore Video in Toronto the shop now has a copy of the 1992 Canuxploitation classic PSYCHO PIKE! Reg and Rhonda, Tim and Dara leave for Toronto and head up to Lake Shippagew for a sun filled summer weekend of relaxing, fishing and perhaps even skinny dipping. But before friends can cut loose to sweet insistent heavy metal balladry several run-ins with eccentric local residents make it obvious that something’s not quite right. One-eyed gas station attendant Willy T warns them about a legendary Northern Pike in the lake that’s been known to kill men, while a gruff local cop stops by to ask if they’ve spotted a fisherman that went missing days ago. Needless to say this movie is a well addition to the shop.
